My cucumbers are done for the season, vines dried up and bug eaten. Thank goodness for “Farmer John”, he sent back me some delicious white cucumbers with his parents. My Polish Grandmother always made a side dish with cucumbers, sour cream, fresh dill and thinly sliced onion. It is cool and refreshing so we have it a lot in the summer, I just love the fresh dill. What’s better than eating a fresh picked cucumber from the garden? So crisp, fresh and delicious. I have been eating one with my lunch every day, skin and all!
